As a Highly Sensitive Person, Mary Ellen is definitely "a different kind of coach with a decidedly different approach." She loves all things related to wellness of mind, body, and spirit. She coaches her clients to do the same with wisdom, humor, and divine inspiration.
Like many HSP women, Mary Ellen enjoys spending time in nature whether hiking, walking, or being near the water. She is an avid non-fiction reader and is a perpetual student of human potential. However, when it comes to TV and movies, she is the first to admit that her tastes gravitate far more often to the ridiculous rather than the sublime. Her current favorites are old episodes of Seinfeld and Frasier because they just make her laugh! As a matter of fact, with her quick wit, Mary Ellen has been known to make others laugh as well. In fact, she performed stand-up comedy at Lakewood Tavern on two occasions! It was one of those bucket list items she dared to step out of her comfort zone to fulfill. So yes, healthy self-care includes laughter, adventure, and lots of joy!
Mary Ellen dearly loves her connection with her family and friends. She lives with her husband and her favorite furry feline, Bella. She has a wonderful son, a fabulous daughter-in-law, and two very sweet granddaughters. Her family is her pride and joy.
